Freephone Numbers These are available as 0800 or 0808 and provide calls free of charge to the caller, with the business or owner of the number picking up the full cost of the call. Businesses advertising in Yellow Pages, newspapers or other media, traditionally generate more enquiries from a Freephone number as opposed to a normal number.
0845 Numbers These numbers mean that a caller will pay only the cost of a local call, no matter where in the UK the call is made from.
0870 / 0871 Numbers These numbers charge callers at the national call rate, irrespective of where in the UK they phone from. There is a return of revenue to the business or owner of the 0870 / 0871 number on each call made. All Non Geographic Numbers can be ported (transferred) from your existing supplier to FET.
118 Directory Enquiries The National service costs 39 pence per call plus 19 pence per minute inclusive of VAT. The International service costs £1.50 per call plus 30 pence per minute inclusive of VAT. A maximum of two numbers may be requested on each call. Both the above services run 24 / 7. Our National service also offers a useful emergency service for plumbers, shop boarding up etc. You can even get a list of films at your local cinema or a list of what is on TV today.
